COVID-19 Safety Guidelines and Procedures for 2025

While state and federal mandates for Covid safety have eased, we remain committed to providing a Covid-safe environment for your treatment. In our office we observe the following safety procedures:

  • All our acupuncturists wear KN95 masks during treatment sessions. Masks are otherwise not required in the building or treatment rooms, and you may choose whether you wish to mask for your appointment.
  • The first floor waiting room is now open, and you are welcome to wait there if you are comfortable. As an alternative, we can text you the front door code and the room number for your appointment so you can go directly to the treatment room if you prefer.
  • We maintain a building-wide policy of asking patients and staff to stay home with any respiratory or other possible Covid symptoms.
  • All treatment rooms have HEPA filters that purify the air from particles smaller than the Covid virus.
  • We schedule a gap between appointments in our treatment rooms, to allow air filters time to clean the air between patients and/or to open windows for fresh air. We are also happy to open windows during your treatment if you prefer.
  • Air exhange is monitored in each room using a CO2 monitor, and windows are opened as needed to maintain good air quality.
  • We continue to follow Clean Needle Technique, mandated for all acupuncturists, which include safe and sterile procedures to protect both the patient and practitioner from infectious disease.

IMPORTANT: If you feel ill or have any symptoms of Covid-19, or if you have a recent known exposure, please contact us before your treatment to reschedule. You will not be charged for a late cancellation in the event you are feeling sick.

With these safety measures in place we feel confident that we can provide you with a safe environment for your treatment. We deeply appreciate your cooperation in helping us look after everyone’s health and safety!
